CAIRO -- Twenty activists of the Muslim Brotherhood were detained for two weeks' questioning Sunday following their arrest in the Fayoum region south of Cairo, police said as carried by AFP. They are suspected of trying to expand the movement's activities in the region by recruiting new members, especially among students. They were arrested Saturday as they were meeting in the home of one of them in the Sinnaris area, 90 kilometers (55 miles) from Cairo, the police said.
